Shandong Province Museum was founded in 1954, it was the first provincial general topography museum which established after the founding of New China. On November 16, 2010,  new hall was officially opened to the public. Since then, the Shandong Province Museum was renamed Shandong  Museum, and opened a new chapter in fair career. The new Shandong Museum not only carries the Shandong Provincial Museum’s hundred years of development history, but also carries the confidence of new museum builder and fair career workers prosper the fair career.
